| 摘 要： | 随着中国加入WTO，我国外语教学面临着十分严峻的挑战，尤其是大学公共英语教学。在新形势下为顺应时代，培养出更多综合运用英语的人才，大学公共英语教学改革势在必行。本文从目前大学公共英语教学所存在的问题及改革的具体措施两方面论述了新形势下大学公共英语教学改革的紧迫性和必然性。

| Abstract: | Chinese foreign- language teaching is confronted with very flinty challenge, when China enters WTO, especially in the college common English teaching. The teaching reformation on the college common English teaching is imperative under the situation in order to cultivate much more persons with ability who are able to use English synthetically. The assay discusses the the pressure and inevitability of teaching reformation on the college common English teaching from the problems on the college English teaching and the methods on the teaching reformation. |
