佛经汉译与佛教文化传播之历史考察

佛经汉译始于东汉,东晋南北朝隋唐达到极盛,宋以后渐趋余绪尾声。在以传播佛教为主要目的的佛经汉译活动中,它的组织形式、翻译策略、翻译方法等都在随着佛教在汉地传播的速度、范围和影响的变化而变化,视佛教和中国传统思想文化交流的具体情况,作出相应的调整,力求在最大程度上适应佛教传播的需要。

A Historical Review of Sutra's Chinese Translation and Buddhist Culture Dissemination

The Chinese Translaltion of Sutra began from the dynasty of Dong Han,and got its greatest glory during the Dong Jin,North and South,Sui and Tang dynasties,but began its decline gradually after the Song.In the activities of translating Sutra into Chinese with the primary aim of spreading Buddhism,the forms of organization,the translating strategies,and techniques and so forth,varied in light of its spreading speed in Han's territory,and in light of the change of its influence as well.All of these were made to meet the needs of Buddhism dissemination.
