On Jameson's Theory of Cognitive Mapping and His View Point of Socialist Politics

Space research and the culture strategy of cognitive mapping is an important component as well as the foothold of Jameson＇s Marxist politics of culture. In Jameson＇s view, in the face of the political action dilemma caused by the space of late capitalism, we need a kind of Marxist dialectical criticism to reveal the oppression concealed by this space, and through the ideology to play a positive role to open the revolutionary power contained in this space, that is just the Jameson＇s socialist politics.
