| Abstract: | With the expansion of data resource, libraries are confronting with the contradiction of the proliferation of resource deposit and the insufficiency of preservation capacity. This paper focuses on the adoption of the concept of data life, cycle, which is competent in controlling the infinite expansion of data resource and can achieve the desirable balance of utilization and preservation. |
