论华裔美国小说《千金》中的华人女性形象

《千金》是华裔美国作家林露德的第一部传记体小说,塑造了一位早期进入美国西部的华人女性开拓者。女主人公腊露自尊自爱、坚毅刚强,她的一生坎坷曲折,她的精神贵逾千金。本文运用比较文学形象学的研究方法,分析林露德在创作过程中的阶段性差异,从中探讨女主人公形象的转变及其创新;同时,通过追寻林露德对华人女性形象的表述,不仅可以照见林露德幼年时的经历,也言说了她对华裔文化身份建构的思考。

On the Chinese Female Image of Thousand Pieces of Gold-A Chinese American novel

Thousand Pieces of Gold,giving shape of a Chinese woman pioneer of the western United States in the early stage,is the first biographical novel written by a Chinese American writer named Ruthanne Lum MeCun.Heroine La Lu is a woman with self-esteem,determination and full of twists and turns in her life.Her spirit is precious than a thousand gold.Through imagology research methods,this article make analyses of Ruthanne Lum MeCun’s staged differences in the creation process,from which to explore the transition and innovation of the Heroine’s image.At the same time,through Ruthanne Lum MeCun’s expression of the image of Chinese women,we can not only see the shadow of Lum MeCun’s childhood experiences but also show her concern about the construction of ethnic Chinese cultural identity.
