The Challenges and Reforming Measures of American Doctoral Education in Recent Years

The basic pattern of American doctoral education is a model for many other countries in the world. But in recent years, there exists massive criticisms towards doctoral education in the US domestically and the entire system faces great challenges. The US government as well as many private charitable foundations initiated or supported many reform programs in doctor education. These reform programs have achieved progress to different extends and are enlightening to our country graduate educational reform.
