中西方文化差异在英语教学中的渗透

语言是文化的载体，要实现语言的交际功能，除掌握一定的词汇和必要的语音、语法知识外，还必须重视语言的文化背景知识。由不同社会因素造成的中西文化差异常常是阻碍学生习得英语的主要麻烦。这就要求我们英语教师在英语教学中一定要注意英汉两种语言及文化的对比教学，使学生了解英语国家的文化背景知识，做到文化知识与语言技能的培养同步进行。结合九年义务教育JEFC(JuniorEnglishforChina)新教材涉及的文化介绍的课文，在日常交际方面教师应向学生强调的中西文化差异，以此来培养和提高中学生的文化习得意识和交际能力。

Reflections of the Differences between Chinese Culture and Western Culture in English Teaching

A country's language is always the carrier of the culture of the country. So, to learn a foreign is not to learn its vocabulory and grammar rules only, and to learn the culture of the country as well. Teachers of English should well use the materials reflected in the textbooks to teach the students such differences so as to heighten their knowldege and abilities to a higher level.
