社会融合视野下公共图书馆的角色与定位

社会融合是社会阶层和群体相互交往和适应的过程,也是当前我国社会转型中实现社会和谐的重要基础。作为服务大众的公益性机构,公共图书馆通过向公众提供平等交往的公共空间和推进信息公平,能有力地配合政府部门和其他公益性机构促进社会融合,同时,不断提高的开放程度和向弱势群体的倾斜的服务定位也是公共图书馆为社会融合贡献自身力量的必然要求。

The Role and Orientation of Public Library in the View of Social Integration

Social integration is the process for the classes in society to contact and achieve the adaptation,and it’s also the foundation of social harmony.As the public institution serving people,the public library can provide the public space for contacting equally and promote more equitable information distribution assisting the government and other institutions.More attention to vulnerable groups and increasing openness are necessary for the public library to promote social integration.
