| Abstract: | The paper aims at examining the origin and theoretical foundations of liberal press concept advocated by Chu Anping,which can facilitate our virtual understanding of the mental course of those liberal press practitioners living before 1949 and their journalistic principles.It presents a new and objective perspective on studying the history of Chinese journalism,supporting the goal of compiling history for current reference. |
