| Abstract: | Cheng Daixi deeply expounds Marxist literature and art thought, and extensively introduces the modern and contemporary literature and art theory in the West, and differentiates and analyses a variety of "new trends" of literature and art earnestly, so that he has made important contributions to China' s construction of science of literature and art by having a good grounding in basic skills of literature and art theory and by having a good knowledge of Chinese and foreign literature history and by relying on the ability to use several foreign languages skillfully. |
