| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,也是文化的重要组成部分。语言禁忌作为一种社会文化现象,其背后所依托的是一个民族深厚的文化底蕴。英汉语言禁忌,由于其依附的社会文化背景不同而存在较大的差异。比较研究英汉语言禁忌差异有助于消除跨文化交际障碍,将英汉禁忌语研究引入外语教学,有助于培养语言学习者和使用者的交际能力。
