| Abstract: | In the United States we cannot avoid the impact of television on domestic politics. On all sides, every election year, we are buffeted by such developments as the “great debates,” “pre‐election predictions” by computers, arguments over Sec. 315, and various partisan uses of TV. Overseas, many nations have experienced the political effects of television, some similar and some more subtle than our own. |
