PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS OF A THEORY OF EDUCATION

In an article in an earlier number of EDUCATIONAL THEORY, Professor Black discussed what he considers to be a "way out of educational confusion." The present article is a treatment of the implications for educational practice and for democracy of the view that education is the cultivation of life at its higher levels.
