The comparative literature phylogeny is a history of abolishing old system and opening up new paradigm.In the middle of the 20th century,American school criticized French school,and initiated the crisis of comparative literature for 10 years.The point of debate concentrated on research object and method.Ultimately,both sides broke the barrier between schools,and adopted each other's strong points while offset their weaknesses.
