| 摘 要： | 词语的社会文化差异和习俗、惯例的社会文化差异是导致语用失误的主要原因。克服语用失误应当注意:其一,理解、掌握那些带有浓厚文化内涵的词语,即“文化词汇”;其二,理解、掌握不同民族的不同习俗、惯例,即人们所忌讳的话题。

| Abstract: | Through a study on cultural differences between English and Chinese language,the main causes of pragmatic errors will be brought to light.Several suggestions are given for the English learners to avoid the pragmatic errors as follows: firstly,they should study those words with rich cultural connotations-"cultural words";secondly,they should study the customs and conventions of different nations-"taboo topics". |
