大学新生英语学习策略的特点

摘    要:文章运用SILL,采取定量研究的方法,调查了大学新生英语学习策略的使用情况。结果显示:新生英语学习策略使用量普遍偏低,元认知策略,认知策略,弥补策略三者高度相关。因此,重视对大学生英语学习策略的培养,应从新生开始,从元认知策略的培养入手。

Abstract:The paper reports a quantitative study of the features of the first-year college students' use of English learning strategies by adopting SILL. Results show that the freshmen's use of language learning strategies is quite limited, and the strategies of matacognition, cognition and compensation are highly correlated. Thus, it is strongly advised that the training of learning strategies should be started at the very beginning of the first year and should be started from the training of the strategy of matacognition.
