| 摘 要： | 对万州古寨堡的分类、成因、防御要素、防御特征进行了初步研究。首先对万州古寨堡的建筑形制及特点进行概述，然后从万州的历史及地理环境入手，分析了万州古寨堡的修建年代及原因，最后对万州古寨堡的防御要素和防御特征从军事防御设施的构建、布局及其防御理念的角度进行了阐释。

The Settlement Characteristics of Wanzhou Ancient Fort |

| Abstract: | This paper is a preliminary study of the ancient fort in Wanzhou, in terms of the fort＇s classifications, causes, defensive elements and defensive features. First of all, it summarizes the structure and characteristics of Wanzhou ancient fort＇s architecture. Then, on the analysis of history and geographical conditions of Wanzhou District, the building time and reasons are determined. Finally, the defensive elements and features of Wanzhou ancient fort are analyzed by observing the construction of military defensive facilities and its layout and defensive concept. |
