Imagination: a Kind of Indispensable Literary Element

In recent years the lack of imagination in literary creation has become a hot topic in the literary world and has received attention from a lot of writers and scholars.The reasons for the withering of literary imagination are related to the cultural traits of industrial society,i.e.,outlook on art,the large-scale "copying" and "splicing" of each other's articles.For imagination to be involved in literature,one must establish psychic authenticity to eliminate the dependence of literature on life experience.And the writer's imagination is to be exerted fully in the way of turning the writer's virtual world into the creation of literary texts with the strategy being exhibiting all the possibilities of human spiritual world for the destruction of the influence of "copying" and "splicing" upon literature.
