| 摘 要： | 客家文化是汉文化的重要组成部分,而围龙屋则是客家文化的一个重要载体,集中反映了客家文化的主要特征,其文化魅力向为学界所关注。围龙屋是粤东梅州客家地区标志性的民居建筑,本文试在实证考察的基础上,通过围龙屋主人与自然及社会环境之间的互动,分析其文化功能,及其整个建构体系中的意义。围龙屋模式的民居,其形成时间,保守的估计在南宋宝以前,距今约有800多年。围龙屋的根在梅州,主要分布于梅州市各县,中心区在梅县、梅江区、兴宁市,向蕉岭县、平远县、五华县、大埔县及丰顺县辐射等,相关文化符号逐渐消失。
