在《水浒传》中,孙二娘作为酒家女的代表,实为古代文学传统中风流俊俏酒家女的又一典型。孙二娘与传统的风骚酒家女迥异其趣,但是在孙二娘与武松的谈话中,又隐约闪烁着古代风流酒家女与酒客"调情"的暧昧。在一般人看来,她容貌凶恶,性格粗犷,但她是美的,是文学中独特的这一个。
