Abstract: | One of the problems with trying to cook Western-style in China is that it relies on equipment not easily available to many people. A lot of Western cooking, for instance, revolves around baking and grilling, and most Chinese apartments don' t even have ovens! It' s also difficult to buy some of the ingredients that Western cooks take for granted in China, except at expensive import stores. So, here we present four recipes designed to be easy and cheap to find ingredients for, easy to cook, and good to eat, no matter where you are. |
