摘    要:编辑活动不仅是选择、优化文化成果的活动,而且是参与建设、整合与重构社会文化体系的活动。其在社会的文化继承、积累、创造过程中的实践表明,编辑活动是文化信息传播的主渠道。在这一渠道中,编辑活动制约着文化传播的速度、方向和质量,以及精神产品的创造者与接受者之间的供需要求的满足程度等。编辑者作为编辑活动的主体,作为编辑活动的具体承担者和操作者,是通过具体的编辑程序和编辑行为来体现其对文化传播的调节、控制作用的,其劳动是促成大众传播活动得以实现的根本环节之一。

Abstract:The practice of editorial activity in the process of cultural inheritance, accumulation and creation suggests that it is main channel to disseminate culture. In this channel, editorial activity conditions the speed of cultural dissemination, the quality of spiritual products that come into propagation, the degree of satisfaction with supply and demand between creators and takers of spiritual products. In editology, there are a lot of key elements which interrelate and interact. The editor is their point of departure and return and the subject of editorial activity as well. Where there is editorial subject, there is no operating process of editorial activity. As the subject, the practical undertaker and operator of editorial activity, the editor shows his regulation of and control over the production of spiritual culture by the concrete editing procedure and behavior. His work is one of the basic steps to facilitate the realization of disseminating activity. All these constitute the connotation of an editorial subject.
