A Three-Stage Evaluation of a Distance Education Course

Some of the work described in this paper was carried out while he was seconded to the Tertiary Education unit (TEDI) of the University of Queensland and while he was on sabbatical leave at the Public Sector Economics Research Centre, University of Leicester, England.;Brad Imrie works in the University Teaching and Research Centre at the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and some of the work described in this paper was carried out while he was on sabbatical leave at the Tertiary Education Centre, University of Queensland. The authors appreciate the assistance of Professor E Roe and the staff of TEDI, particularly Marjorie Searle who administered the questionnaire for the third-stage evaluation, Professor J R Loverly, Division of External Studies, and Professor P M Jackson, Public Sector Economics Research Centre.
