| 摘 要： | 英语词汇具有极强的构词力 ,缀合和合成是两种最常见、最有生命力的构词方法。从理论上讲 ,任何一个base +affix或两个自由词素都可以按照一定规则构成一个无限长的word。但新词的产生和创造过程中必须遵循一定顺序 ,往往受到语音、语义、语法和语用很多方面的限制

| Abstract: | English vocabulary can be created in various ways. Deriving and compounding are the most frequently used ways . In theory, unlimited words , no matter how long they would be, can be formed by "base + affix" or any free words according to the word_formation. But there will be many restrictions from phonetics,symantics,grammar and pragmatics in the process of forming words. |
