With People's Food Holding Ltd.listing on SGX mainboard in March,2001,more enterprises in Linyi have listed overseas continuously.At present overseas company from Linyi reaches 11.Based on public information,the paper analyzes the motivation,benefit and the challenge experienced in the process of IPO.By IPO and refinance,enterprises from Linyi financed RMB 3,140 million,which has driven the enterprises to develop forcefully.At the same time,the stock market has also cultivated a batch of rich men.Certainly,the IPO has also experienced a series of challenges such as how to make choice of the underwriter and the issuing site and price.The experiences of Linyi provide valuable reference for government departments and plan-to-list corporations.
