| 摘 要： | 《聊斋志异》是中国古典文学中最为著名的短篇小说集。作为中国古典短篇小说的巅峰之作,《聊斋志异》不仅为中国短篇小说赢得了很高的世界声誉,也为后世的外文翻译留下了不小的挑战。以严复的＂信＂为标准,探讨郭临英译版本《瑞云》的优缺点,能够帮助英语学习者总结经验,吸取教训。

| Abstract: | Liao Zhai Zhi Yi is the most famous collection of short stories in Chinese classical literature.As the peak of Chinese classical short stories,Liao Zhai Zhi Yi not only builds up a highly world-wide reputation for Chinese short stories but also leaves a great challenge to these posterior translators who want to translate Liao Zhai Zhi Yi from Chinese into English.With the criteria of "xin" proposed by Yan Fu,English learners can probe into the advantages and disadvantages of The Girl Protector translated by Guo Lin and summarize his experience and learn his lessons. |
