| Abstract: | YIFEN WENJI by Liang Ting-nan recorded and analyzed the causes, process and impact of the first Opium War, attempted to seek a strategy against the enemy, prorogated the spirit of resistance, and reflected his strong patriotism. The book, with its duality of contemporary history and private history,led the changes in historiography in the Qing Dynasty. |
