大学英语教学中的文化导入

摘    要:外语教学的最终目的是使学习者掌握目的语(target language),并用之进行跨文化交流(intercultural communication)。成功的跨文化交流除了依靠良好的语言结构知识外,还依靠有关的文化知识,也就是说,学习外语的同时必须学习与目的语有关的文化。本文论述了为达到跨文化交流的目的,在大学英语课程教学中进行文化导入(culture input)的理论基础及教学原则,并结合笔者的实践经验介绍了课堂教学的一些具体操作原则和方法。

Abstract:Language education aims not only at the learners' mastery of target language,but at the ability to communicate efficiently in different cultural background,namely,the intercultural communicative ability.To achieve this goal,language teachers should help the learners get as good awareness of linguistic knowledge as that of the cultural differences.In this essay,the writer tries hard to illustrate the theoretical foundation and teaching principle of cultural input in college English course,and moreover,to put forward some practical classroom teaching methods based on the writer's experience.
