| 摘 要： | 本世纪前10年，是我国实现经济、社会跨越式发展的关键时期。全面推进高等教育大众化对于扩大内需，减轻就业压力，提高劳动者素质，促进人口、经济和高等教育协调发展具有重要意义。本文分析了目前处于大众化初期的我国高等教育发展的基本状况，并对本世纪前10年高等教育大众化的根本任务、高等教育改革的方向及经费供求问题进行了分析与预测。
