Character has been received great attention since long time ago. Until now, it has been undoubtedly very important. The effect of the implementation of character education is highly related to the development of an individual＇ s character. In addition, it influences the existence and development of a society or nation. Therefore, character education deserves much attention and exploration of educational community. The paper discussed the meanings, scopes, effective principles, problems, and solutions of character education. It is expected that the paper can promote educators＇ understanding, concern, and practices of character education to achieve the target goals of character education.
