摘    要:豆的本义为古食内器,其今义在古代用“菽”表示。“豆”的字形演变反映了这种古食肉器的形制、种类及其历史变化,这种变化与先民饮食技艺的改进有关。通过这些文字,可以看出古代饮食文化的发展。

Abstract:'Dou', denoting food containers in ancient times, means the same thing as 'shu' did in ancient times. The evolution of the Chinese character 'dou' reflects the changes of the ancient food container in terms of its shaping, category and history, which is associated with improvement of the ancestor's catering techniques. The ancient catering culture may come into sight on the basis of these characters.
