| Abstract: | Euphemism is a commonly existing cultural phenomenon among nations in the world which regulates people's laguage and social communication. The great discrepance between Chinese and western culture directly results in the great difference between Chinese and English euphemism. This paper analyzes it from the point of view of religious belief, address, ethnic, and privacy. |
