摘    要:百余年来,美国政府和有关教育组织从适应时代发展的战略高度,在各个时期出台了一系列教育改革的措施和政策;一方面十分强调不断提高中等教育的普及率;一方面极其重视提高教育质量。可以说,美国高中教育追求的是以学术能力为内核的全面质量、整体质量的提升,走的是一条内涵发展和质量型普及之路。

Abstract:American government and the relevant educational institutions have set out a wide range of educational policies and activities strategically to keep abreast of the times over the last century.They put a great emphasis on the improvement of the universalization rate of secondary school education as well as its quality.We can say that what American high school education pursues is the improvement of the all-around quality with academic capacity as its core,and it adopts a route of connotation development and quality-concerned univeraliztion.
