| Abstract: | It takes almost seven years to develop Standards for Teacher Education Programs (STEP). This paper thoroughly traces the developmental process of STEP and makes response to various consulting opinions proposed by different experts in the process including the orientation, philosophy, objectives and contents of STEP and structures & implementation of teacher education programs. |
