英语的词汇教学与词语学习策略

摘    要:英语词汇学习是学好英语的前提。大学英语教学中往往偏重词汇的定义,而忽略词汇的外延意义和社会文化意义。教师在词汇教学中应发挥其主导作用,从一词多义、一词多译等多方面引导学生,扩大词汇量。同时,分析研究英语词语学习策略,使学生在词汇学习上少走弯路,提高学习效率。

Abstract:The study of English vocabularies is the precondition of English study, but teachers frequently put particular stress on the definition of vocabularies and neglect the extension and social meaning of vocabularies. Teachers should play a main role in vocabulary teaching and guide the students to enlarge vocabularies by introducing polysemy and multi-way translation for one word, and meanwhile, refrain the students from taking a roundabout route, raising their efficiency in vocabulary study through the study and analysis of the rule of English vocabulary study's tactics.
