| Abstract: | The Chinese Charater Dictionary of Xiang Dialect" was compiled in the twenties of the 20th century. It collects the old style dialect in Changsha area then, and is fundamentally valuable as historical data for researching the development of the dialect in Changsha area. The object of this essay is to make a summary introduction to it as well as a brief comment upon it. |
