A Study of the Development Process of School Moral Education in Singapore

As an old saying goes, ＂Stones from other hills may serve to polish the jade of this one＂, the school moral education in Singapore integrates both the features of the East and the West. This paper systematically surveys the connotation and the development history of school moral education in Singapore since its founding and draws on the features and the experience which have played a key role in the school moral education in Singapore. The study is of some reference for the continuous development and improvement of moral education in schools of our country and can provide vital ideological elements for the civic moral construction in our country.
