归化翻译的现实大势和异化翻译的趋势

归化和异化是翻译的两种方法。读者潜意识归化心理、考虑读者接受程度、化境说影响和各类翻译比赛推动了翻译中心的归化趋势；追求洋味、崇外心理、母语熟悉程度和外语影响造成了异化翻译成为主流。前者利于读者阅读理解但不利于新词汇引入，后者有利于加速语言融合、增加阅读新鲜感但存在阅读不流畅、影响理解等利弊。

The Present Dominance of Domestication Approach and the Tendency of Foreignization Approach in Translation

Both domestication and foreignization are the two ways for translation. Readers＇ domestication in sub-consciousness, consideration of the degree of reader＇s acceptance, the influence of domestication theory and various translation contests all contribute to the tendency of domestication; seeking for foreign characters, worshiping foreign manners, familiarity of mother tongue and, the influence of foreign languages have foreignization the main tendency. The former is easy for the reader to understand what he is reading, but not easy to introduce new words, while the latter is helpful to speed up the melting of languages and, has the reader feel freshness in reading, but will affect the smoothness and comprehension of reading.
