摘    要:中国人是在中国文化环境中学习英语的,这个环境既指生存的外部文化环境,也指个体的心理环境。学生学习英语缺乏自然习得的环境,对英语文化背景的了解贫乏。教学中适时强化跨文化意识,进行文化教学资源开发,将大量的相关文化信息渗透于词汇、句型、语篇、语法等教学环节中,能使学生感受中英文化差异,熟悉英语文化背景,适应英语文化环境,并逐步增强综合运用英语进行交际的能力。

Abstract:Chinese people learn English in Chinese cultural environment which refers to personal psychological as well as external cultural environment, so students are lacking in natural acquisition of English with little cultural background. English teaching in China should properly heighten transcultural awareness, exploit cultural teaching resources, and introduce a wealth of relevant cultural information into the teaching steps of vocabulary, sentence patterns, discourses, and grammar, so as to let them understand cultural differences, familiarize themselves with English cultural background, adapt themselves to English cultural environment, and further their communicative competence in English in a well-rounded way.
