论大学趋同现象

纵观世界大学史,个性、特色成就了许多世界知名大学,而中国的许多大学却正在日益走向趋同。大学趋同具有历史必然性,适度趋同具有一定合理性,而过度趋同必将产生许多不良后果。从短时期来看,结构性大学生就业问题将逐渐显现,本已严峻的就业问题将雪上加霜;从长远来看,大学个性缺失,将难以跻身于世界一流大学行列。大学趋同是模仿机制、强迫性机制、社会规范机制、市场诱导机制共同作用的结果。面对趋同,政府应加强对大学的引导,大学应准确定位。惟其如此。我国才能从高等教育大国发展为高等教育强国。

Research on Convergence of Universities

Looking through the world university history,you will find personality and features make many universities become world-renowned universities.However,many universities in China are stepping into convergence.The convergence of universities has the character of historical inevitabilities.Moderate convergence has its rationality.Yet,excessive convergence will result in many adverse consequences.From the perspective of short term,The smactural employment problem of undergraduate students will be gradually emerging.The already severe problem of employment will be worse. From the perspective of long term,lack of personality will make it difficult for national universities to step into the ranks of world-class universities.The convergence of universities is the result of common action of imitation mechanism, compulsory mechanism,social norms mechanism and market mechanism.Faced with convergence,the government should strengthen the guidance of the universities,and universities should accurately position themselves.Only thus,China can step into the rank of worldwide powerful countries of higher education.
