| Abstract: | This article is a case study of a certain independent college. Based on literature study and questionnaire surveys, the paper examines the present situation of the poverty - stricken students in the college, probes into students＇ acceptance of the requirements for the state subsidies for povertystricken college students and the assessment process, and then attempts to provide some solutions to the existing problems in the handling of state subsidies. |
