| Abstract: | Professor Ian Westbury, a leading figure in the field of American curriculum, is the chief editor of the American journal of Curriculum Research, and also well-known as a student of Schwab. Mainly focusing on general education, this interview will enable domestic scholars to more clearly distinguish the concept of liberal arts education and general education, and more truly understand the history of American general education and the rapid changes in the 21st century. It will also explore how the general curriculum should exceed the original model structure to construct new styles of general education. |
