春节习俗与岁时通过仪式

春节作为中国的传统大节,由若干民俗环节构成。贯穿春节民俗事象背后的是民众的时间意识,人们将春节视作新旧转换的时间过程。范.根纳普的通过仪式理论认为:人生仪礼与时间通过仪式都由分离、阈限与聚合三部分构成,人们在经历了这样的过关仪式后,就实现了新旧不同性质的转化。我们以此理论具体分析中国年节通过仪式的诸种表现,从年节节俗进程中,总结出年节通过仪式的三大类别:岁末时空净化仪式、过年与阈限期间的仪式及迎接新年仪式。由于中国历史文化的特性,中国人年节通过仪式具有以下三种特性:(1)人与自然共同经历的通过仪式,认为在年节中人与万物一道经历时间的新旧更替过程;(2)家族集体经历通过仪式,中国人在时间过渡仪式中重视家族家庭集体的力量,体现了中国人特有的家庭伦理意识;(3)世俗与神圣交融的仪式情境。在年节通过仪式中,人们没有进入所谓纯粹的神圣境界,人们将世俗生活与神圣仪式融合为一,这也是不尚玄虚的中国文化特性所决定的。
