| 摘 要： | 菲茨杰拉德的代表作《了不起的盖茨比》运用了大量色彩及特定色彩相关的器物和自然事物形成的象征意象，不仅为深化小说的主题意义起到了至关重要的作用，更为小说涂上了一层梦幻般的色彩，从而使小说以传奇般的故事，完成了对整个美国社会的严肃批判。

| Abstract: | In Fitzgerald's masterpiece The Great Gatsby a number of symbolic images of colors and some implements and natural things related to special colors are used,which not only play an important role in deepening the novel's theme but also cover a layer of dreamy color on the novel so as to achieve a serious criticism on the whole American society. |
