坚定白话文道路开创当代文学新局面——对毕耕先生"文言复兴论"的批判

文言文在中国文学史上沿袭了两千多年,虽然在“五四运动”中惨遭淘汰,但直至近年来仍有毕耕先生等提倡“文言复兴”。其实,白话取代文言是历史发展的必然,是由诸多因素共同推动的结果。我们应当在坚定白话文道路的同时,还要吸取古典文学的精髓,创作出更多、更新的作品,从而开创中国当代文学的新局面。

Insisting on Writing in Vernacular Chinese, Creating the New Prospect of Contemporary Literature——A Criticism on Mr. Bi Geng's "Revival of Writing in Classical Style"

Writing in classical style has lasted for more than two thousand years in Chinese literary history. Although it was eliminated in the "May 4th Movement", Mr. Bigeng and others have advocated "revival of writing in classical style" in recent years. In fact, the replacement of writing in classical style with writing in vernacular Chinese is the developing trend of history, and has many causes. We should insist on writing in vernacular Chinese but, at the same time, draw on the essence of classical literature, writing more and more initiative works to create the new prospect of contemporary Chinese literature.
