Conrad's Anti - colonial Ideology Revealed in Heart of Darkness

Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness is considered as an enigma for its rich textureand thought-provoking content.For the past thirty years,the political aspect of this work has been a central focus of its studies.Various arguments arise concerning Conrad's colonialist or ant-colonialist ideological tendency revealed in this work.In this essay an attempt is made to illustrate Conrad's anti-colonial thoughts through the distinction between the character Marlow and the narrator Marlow,as well as the distance between the narrator Marlow and the author Conrad,an endeavor is made to trace Conrad's beliefs that support his anti-colonial thoughts.
