言据性的人际功能阐析

言据性主要是指对信息来源及其可靠程度的说明。言据性具有人际的本质,是体现人际意义与实现人际功能的语言手段之一。从系统功能语言学的视角探讨言据性的交际互动性,进而着重讨论言据性与据素的三种具体的人际功能,即可以使说话人对所述信息承担或逃避责任;协调或维系一定的人际关系;零据素的使用表明说话人希望与听话人实现知识、立场共享的意图。

Interpersonal Functions of Evidentiality and Evidentials

Evidentiality is about the speaker’s expression of information source and its reliability.Evidentiality is inherently interpersonal,working as one of the linguistic means to realize interpersonal meanings or functions.After the discussion of the interactive nature of evidentiality and evidentials from the viewpoint of system functional linguistics,three other specific interpersonal functions are explored.The use of evidentials would enable the speaker to shoulder or evade responsibilities for what’s being stated and align or maintain certain social relationships whereas the use of zero evidential markers reveals the speaker’s intention to call for the hearer to share with him certain knowledge or positioning.
