摘    要:以ESI数据库为数据来源,从学科相对产出和相对引文影响比较分析了中国与世界主要国家的科研论文产出,并进一步考虑论文产出和引文影响在学科之间的非均衡分布,从学科专业化和标准引文影响两个维度刻画我国与世界主要国家科研论文产出的相对位置。发现中国科研论文总数虽已居世界第二,但与世界主要国家相比,科研论文质量存在较大差距,学科结构布局也存在一定差异。当前,中国正处于从学科专业化指标值=0.5、标准引文影响指标值=0.6向学科专业化指标值=0.35、标准引文影响指标值=1.2双重跃迁的关键时期。本文研究方法及结论对于认清中国在世界科学研究领域中的地位具有一定的补充和警示作用。

Abstract:Using ESI database as an original data,This paper makes a comparative analysis of scientific publication output between China and some major countries in the world with the scientometrics indicators of relative publication index and relative citation impact.Accounting for the non-equilibrium distribution of publication and citation impact among disciplines,a two-dimensional framework with disciplinary specialization on the horizontal axis and normalized citation impact on the vertical axis is built to depict the relative position of China and some major countries in the scientific research area.The results show that as the second large country of scientific publication output,China has a difference academic structure compared with some major countries,and also has a poorer quality of scientific research.Currently China is at a critical transition period of dual transition of structure and quality from(disciplinary specialization index value=0.5,normalized citation impact value=0.6) to(disciplinary specialization index value=0.35,normalized citation impact value=1.2).The methods and conclusions constitute both a remedy and a warning approaches to understand China’s position in the scientific research area.
