理工科大学英语专业复合人才培养探析

On the Training of the English Majors with All-round Abilities in the Technological Universities

The paper explains several definitions of "all-round graduates",and furtherly experiments with double-degree students in foreign language department of Taiyuan university of Technology.After detailed analysis and discussion of its schooling pattern,subjects arrangement and teaching methods,the writer intends to suggest that foreign language department in technological universities should adopt "major English" cultivating pattern and classroom-task teaching method to graduate qualities of all-round graduates to the society.
