《菊馨》中的光色变奏

Colors and Light in The Odour of Chrysanthemua

Writing is similar to drawing.The great writers are colorists as well.Not only do they consider each color’s subjective conscious ness,but also they have to think of the effects and influences on the whole structure caused by the interactions between colors and light.Im pressionism has done great researches in this field.There are a great number of coloes and light in The Odour of Chrysanthemua,one of the short story written by D.H Lawrence.They have their respective meanings and also affect each other,thus simply analyzing them as images is not enough.Analyzing them based on the relevant impressionism theories will obtain furtherl meanings and significance.
